Day 2

Tea Leaves and Tales

Monday, 24th February 2025

Discover the essence of Kenya's Kiambethu Tea Farm, a serene oasis just outside of Nairobi. Established in 1910 as the country's first commercial tea farm, Kiambethu has been home to five generations of the same family, dedicated to cultivating one of Kenya's most iconic exports. As we unwind on this settler farm at Limuri, we will immerse ourselves in the art of tea-making, sample a variety of teas, stroll through lush tea fields and forests, and spot playful Colobus monkeys.

Private Island Safari

Day 5

Escapade in Paradise

Escape to Diani's stunning coastline! We will take a morning flight to Mombasa and be shuttled to a brand new luxurious oceanfront boutique resort, part of the Msambweni Beach House group, which our group will inaugurate and exclusively occupy for this trip. Here you can spend the afternoon unwinding in style. As the sun sets, we will meet on the beach for a night of Bonfire, BBQ, local traditions and surprises.

Day 6

Beats under the Stars

Spend the day exploring Diani’s hidden gems and local experiences. As the night falls, join us for the most epic party of the trip, without any neighbour and curfew restrictions to allow an all night celebration. It is time to LET GO and bring your positive vibes, dancing shoes and exhale into the silver paradise marking the border where the African continent meets the vast Indian Ocean.

Day 7

Sun, Sand and Sundowners:
A Beachside Soiree

Enjoy a day of beachside revelry, fueled by great food, drinks, and company. Then, as the sun begins to set, we will transition to a rooftop oasis for a serene sundowner experience and a chance to toast to an incredible journey in Kenya.

Day 8

Bon Voyage or your Adventure continues…

We will fly back to Nairobi in the morning, where you can take advantage of a free day to relax or discover Nairobi's charms before you head back to the airport for your journey home. For those continuing the adventure, get ready for an unforgettable journey to the Masai Mara for more wildlife adventures and experiences.

STEP 1

Confirm Your Attendance

STEP 2

Receive Invoice

Once you have confirmed your attendance, we will email you an invoice with instructions on how to complete your payment. Payment options will be provided on the invoice.

STEP 3

Make Payment

You can pay in full or reserve your booking with a 50% deposit.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Full Payment:

  • Pay the total amount by 4th December 2024

Deposit and Balance:

  • Pay a 50% deposit by 26th September 2024 to reserve your spot
  • Pay the remaining 50% balance by 4th December 2024 to secure your booking.

Terms and Conditions of A Beautiful Life Bookings

By making a booking with us, you agree that:

  • you have read these Terms and Conditions (as set out below) and agree to be bound by them;
  • you consent to our use of your information; and you are authorised on behalf of all persons named on the booking to disclose their personal details to us, including where applicable, special categories of data (such as information on health conditions or disabilities and dietary requirements);
  • you are over 18 years of age and where placing an order for services with age restrictions you declare that you and all members of your party are of the appropriate age to purchase those services;
  • you accept financial responsibility for payment on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking; and
  • you have adequate travel insurance for all party members which covers for losses, costs or expenses (including medical expenses) in the event that you have to make amendments or cancel for any reasons whatsoever.

A. Booking Policy

  • Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of full payment by a Beautiful Life (with payment having cleared the Beautiful Life account specified in the invoice).
  • Airport Transfer to and from Mombasa to One Ocean Villa
  • To confirm your booking, please submit your RSVP through our Google Form here

B. Payment Terms

  • 50% deposit required by 26th September 2024.
  • Full payment required by 4th December 2024.
  • Payment methods accepted: Bank Transfer only.
  • Bank details will be provided in an invoice once your RSVP is confirmed.
  • It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that their payment has been successfully processed.

C. Cancellation Policy

  • 45 days prior to the 1st date of the group's itinerary (i.e., prior to 10th January 2025): 25% cancellation charge.
  • 31 days prior to the 1st date of the group's itinerary (i.e., prior to 24th January 2025): 50% cancellation charge.
  • Within 30 days prior to the 1st date of the group's itinerary (i.e., prior to 25th January 2025): 100% cancellation charge.
  • Once deposit has been paid to A Beautiful Life, any refunds may incur a reasonable administrative fee (to cover, without limitation, bank transfer fees, wire, or currency exchange charge).

D. Amendments

  • Changes to bookings may incur additional fees or penalties.
  • Amendments are subject to availability.

E. Liability

  • A Beautiful Life shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses suffered by travellers.
  • Travellers assume all risks and responsibilities for their travel.

F. Privacy/ Data Protection

  • You acknowledge that we may have access to the personal information of participating travellers for the purposes of booking experiences and related activities, and each participating traveller consents to the use of the information for such purposes including the sharing of such information to our activity or transport suppliers.

G. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

H. Force Majeure

  • Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, A Beautiful Life will not be liable or pay you compensation if our obligations to you are affected by “Force Majeure”. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, Force Majeure means any event beyond our or our activity or transport suppliers’ control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples include warfare and acts of terrorism (and threat thereof), civil strife, significant risks to human health such as pandemics, epidemics or the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination, or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the travel destination or remain at the travel destination, the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, labour strikes, lock closure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster, unavoidable technical problems with transport, and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) concerned’ control.

I. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall attempt to be resolved amicably through an informal process of negotiation in good faith between the parties.

By booking with A Beautiful Life, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

Flight Information and Entry Requirements

  • You will need to book your own flights to both Nairobi and Diani Beach.
  • The recommended airport for Nairobi is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), while Ukunda Airport (UKA) would be the closest airport for our Diani Beach Escape. A shuttle bus has been arranged for transport to our resort One Ocean Villa.
  • Recommended airlines for flights to Nairobi (NBO) are: Kenya Airways, British Airways, Qatar Airways, Emirates and Lufthansa.
  • Recommended airlines for flights from Nairobi (Wilson Airport) to Ukunda Airport (UKA) are: Safari Link, Skyward Express and Jambojet. We recommend arrival in Diani by midday at the latest.
  • Your passport should be valid for at least six months from your planned entry date.
  • If required, apply for a Kenyan visa; most nationalities can conveniently apply for an e-visa online at the Directorate and Immigration Services.
